Mickey and Bridget were awarded by SOF 2003

The jury of the 12. Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF 2003) was charmed by Bridgets cuteness and Mickeys inventive usage of modern means of communication. They were awarded the interactive Grand Prix which placed Profano on the top of Slovenian interactive agencies.

Mickey’s determination in his quest to satisfy Bridget has won the sympathies of a Golden Drum 2002 international advertising festival jury, and was awarded with a silver drumstick.

M-Pay On Wheels

A new service is now available in streets of Ljubljana - taxi fare payment with their mobile phones. Mobile phone users have warmly welcomed this opportunity – a big step towards the arrival of the M-Pay Mobile POS Terminals to other points of sale across Slovenia at the end of the year.

M-Pay at the Industrial Design Exhibition - BIO 18

Terminal M-Pay terminal for vending machines will be presented at the beginning of October at the 18th international Biennial of Industrial Design in Ljubljana. It’s benefits are many, such as robust yet soft casing, nature friendly material (high pressure aluminium casting), clearly defined communication field, mike and speaker opening as a distinctive features of the pictogram, finger support for holding the mobile near the machine and is set to fit different sizes and types of mobile phone. Or in the words of industrial designer in Ultra, Bojan Starič: "Clear, kind and simple – these were the guidelines for the shape of M-Pay terminal."

EU Commissioner Liikanen buys coffee with M-Pay

Ultra sponsored the European Ministerial Conference of information Society, which was held in Ljubljana's Grand Hotel Union on 3rd and 4th of June 2002.

An exhibition following the conference displayed the best practice projects and Ultra took the opportunity to promote M-Pay Mobile Payment System, including M-Pay Vending Terminals and M-Pay Mobile POS Terminal. Many participants enjoyed their experience with M-Pay, buying snacks and drinks at the vending machines, among them the EU Commissioner for Enterprise and Information Society Erkki Liikanen.
